Senior Communications Specialist

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Missouri.

📋 Description

• Oversee the annual development and production of the HEDIS Provider Toolkit and related communications.

• Support the maintenance of a comprehensive communications strategy within a managed care setting.

• Create materials that align with communication strategies directed at members and providers.

• Design, evaluate, and update health-related materials intended for distribution to members and providers.

• Establish and nurture professional relationships with printers, graphic designers, and various vendors.

• Monitor and report on the status of ICS, Business Owner, and Regulatory recommendations and approvals.

• Foster positive working relationships with business partners and colleagues in Member and Provider communications.

• Oversee the communications process to ensure compliance with internal and external approval requirements.

• Execute additional responsibilities as assigned.

• Adhere to all organizational policies and standards.

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience.

• Minimum of 2 years of related work experience.

• Proficient in creating communication materials tailored for members and providers.

• Skilled in designing, evaluating, and updating health-related content.

• Capable of ensuring content appropriateness, readability, and effective translations.

• Experienced in managing compliance approval processes for both internal and external stakeholders.

• Ability to collaborate effectively with Health Plans, Compliance, Marketing, and other relevant parties.
