This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Create and manage communication materials such as newsletters, annual reports, fact sheets, and FAQs for testosterone screening and treatment expansion initiatives.
β’ Design and implement communication strategies for both internal and external audiences, adhering to the VA Style Guide and Section 508 accessibility standards.
β’ Write and refine executive-level status reports, presentations, memorandums, and other communications geared towards leadership.
β’ Assist in content creation and upkeep for VA SharePoint sites, Teams channels, and VA Intranet/Internet websites.
β’ Aid in the formulation of policies, directives, standard operating procedures, templates, and communication standards related to program initiatives.
β’ Organize and lead working sessions and stakeholder meetings, overseeing agenda management and follow-up communications.
β’ Convert intricate program and clinical information into concise, audience-specific written content for Veterans, clinical personnel, and stakeholders.
β’ Provide support for business plans, funding requests, and program-related correspondence as needed.
β’ Collaborate with program and project management teams to ensure alignment of communication products with program timelines and reporting schedules.
β’ Minimum of 8 years of experience in strategic communications, marketing, or a similar field, ideally within federal health agency initiatives.
β’ Bachelor's degree in Communications, Marketing, Journalism, Public Relations, or a related discipline.
β’ Experience in creating communication materials tailored for federal or healthcare audiences.
β’ Knowledge of the VA Style Guide and Section 508 accessibility compliance standards is preferred.
β’ Exceptional writing, editing, and proofreading capabilities.
β’ Strategic mindset with a proactive approach to marketing trends and technologies.
β’ Strong problem-solving abilities and critical thinking skills.
β’ Capability to handle competing deadlines effectively.
β’ Experience supporting intricate projects and transformational efforts within the federal government.
β’ Comfort in managing complex client relationships.
β’ Eligibility to obtain and maintain a public trust clearance.
β’ Legal authorization to work in the U.S.
β’ Strong analytical, critical thinking, and time management skills.
β’ Proven organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and collaborate effectively.
β’ Proficient in communicating ideas, thoughts, and solutions clearly, both in writing and verbally.
