This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of and manage designated committees and collaboration groups, encompassing program content, meetings, processes, documentation, and recordkeeping.
• Collaborate with committee chairs, senior executives, and internal stakeholders to set priorities and develop pertinent programming.
• Provide a superior experience for members.
• Organize and lead meetings, roundtables, and forums, which includes creating agendas, presentations, supporting materials, and follow-up actions.
• Assess collaboration group strategies and performance to pinpoint and execute opportunities for enhancement and growth.
• Supervise communications and promotional strategies that support member acquisition, engagement, and retention efforts.
• Oversee membership workflows, ensure timely responses to inquiries, and manage recruitment and retention initiatives.
• Analyze member engagement, feedback, and industry trends to guide programming and organizational recommendations.
• Develop, manage, and reconcile budgets for assigned groups.
• Direct cross-functional initiatives while providing guidance, coaching, and direction to participants involved in program implementation.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Communications, Marketing, or a similar field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• A minimum of seven years of progressively responsible experience in insurance, financial services, associations, membership organizations, professional services, or a related industry.
• Proven experience managing executive-level committees, advisory councils, member communities, working groups, or similar programs.
• Documented success in developing programs, facilitating meetings, and nurturing relationships with senior executives and industry leaders.
• Familiarity with strategies for member or client acquisition, engagement, and retention.
• Experience in managing projects, communications, budgets, and handling multiple priorities.
• Leadership experience that includes guiding, mentoring, developing, or directing the work of others, whether through direct or matrixed relationships.
• Strong skills in relationship-building and establishing credibility with senior executives and industry leaders.
• Exceptional facilitation, presentation, and both written and verbal communication skills.
• A member-focused mindset with the ability to enhance acquisition, engagement, and retention.
• Strong business, financial, analytical, and program management capabilities.
• Ability to influence, coach, delegate, and foster accountability among others.
• Excellent judgment, organization, and attention to detail, with the capability to manage competing priorities.
• Ability to balance strategic planning with practical execution.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
