This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in California, +2 more states.
• Oversee the commercialization of products and maintain Aldevron’s Gene Editing Therapeutic product offerings and services.
• Create a market-leading stance across various organizational functions.
• Administer existing clinical and commercial products and services.
• Implement commercial launches as outlined by the Product Strategy.
• Collaborate with commercial teams and partners to enhance portfolio growth and differentiation.
• Partner with Marketing, Finance, Legal, Manufacturing, Regulatory, Quality, and other departments to introduce and manage products and services.
• Provide distinct messaging, value propositions, tactical marketing strategies, collateral, and training materials.
• Formulate plans and pricing strategies to meet annual order, revenue, and margin growth targets.
• Oversee mid-to-late-stage product and custom manufacturing service lifecycles, including end-of-life strategies.
• Conduct sales training for both new and existing products.
• Support funnel and opportunity expansion along with key account management.
• Serve as the product lead for significant client discussions and escalations.
• Offer market insights, regulatory trends, and competitor analyses.
• Establish multi-year product forecasts and identify opportunities for enhancing current products.
• A B.S. or B.A. degree is required.
• An MBA or an advanced degree in a scientific discipline, such as cell biology, molecular biology, biotechnology, or biochemistry, is preferred.
• A minimum of 7 years of experience in a client-facing product manager or sales position.
• At least 5 years of product management experience in life sciences or a related healthcare field.
• Experience in managing products within a regulated biotechnology, pharmaceutical, or life science sector.
• Experience in translating therapeutic components or supporting CDMO services.
• Proven track record in launching and sustaining high-quality products.
• Willingness to travel up to 30% of the time, including international travel.
• Strong understanding of cell and gene therapy, gene editing, and/or the life science industry is preferred.
• Experience in influencing all organizational levels, including senior and functional leaders, is preferred.
• Experience collaborating cross-functionally with a globally distributed team is preferred.
