This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee, guide, mentor, and cultivate the skills of Product Managers involved in intricate digital services and technology projects.
• Provide coaching to Product Managers on aspects such as product strategy, discovery, roadmapping, prioritization, stakeholder management, and outcome-driven delivery.
• Collaborate with Product Managers and customer stakeholders to establish product vision, strategy, objectives, priorities, and success metrics.
• Convert customer goals, user requirements, research findings, data insights, and technical factors into product strategies and actionable priorities.
• Direct the creation and upkeep of product roadmaps, backlogs, product specifications, and outcome-focused delivery plans.
• Ensure that teams integrate user research and feedback into product decision-making processes.
• Collaborate with engineering, design, delivery, research, and other departments to align on priorities and desired results.
• Develop and maintain relationships with government clients and stakeholders through clear communication, transparency, collaboration, and product leadership.
• Lead product strategy discussions, roadmap evaluations, planning meetings, and stakeholder engagements.
• Assist Product Managers in managing competing priorities, evolving requirements, dependencies, constraints, and complex stakeholder dynamics.
• Establish and reinforce best practices, tools, processes, and standards in product management.
• Encourage the use of both qualitative and quantitative data to assess performance, comprehend user needs, measure outcomes, and guide decision-making.
• Identify product risks, gaps, and opportunities, driving them to resolution through cross-functional leadership.
• Aid in communicating product strategy, priorities, trade-offs, progress, risks, and outcomes.
• Supervise the performance, professional growth, workload, and resource allocation of Product Managers.
• Assist in the hiring, interviewing, onboarding, and development of Product Management talent.
• Cultivate a collaborative, inclusive, and accountable culture that emphasizes learning, customer outcomes, and high-quality digital services.
• Enhance product management capabilities and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• Contribute product expertise to proposals, recompetes, account expansion, and business development efforts.
• Ensure continuity in product and team dynamics during contract, staffing, customer, or organizational changes.
• Bachelor’s degree with 7+ years of relevant professional experience, or an equivalent mix of education and experience.
• 5+ years of experience in product management, digital product development, digital services, software delivery, or a related field.
• 2+ years of experience leading, managing, mentoring, or developing Product Managers or other product professionals.
• Proven experience in defining product strategy, vision, roadmaps, priorities, and measurable outcomes for complex digital products or services.
• Experience working with multidisciplinary teams that span product, engineering, design, research, delivery, and other technical fields.
• Ability to translate customer and user needs into product priorities and actionable tasks for technical teams.
• Familiarity with product discovery, prioritization, roadmap development, backlog management, and iterative product delivery.
• Direct experience engaging with senior customers and stakeholders in a client-facing product leadership capacity.
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies, human-centered design, and contemporary digital product development practices.
• Competence in navigating competing priorities, uncertainty, organizational constraints, and complex stakeholder environments.
• Proficiency in utilizing qualitative and quantitative data to inform product decisions and assess product outcomes.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Must currently possess, or have recently held, a Moderate Risk Public Trust (MRPT) determination or a higher-level federal security clearance (Secret or Top Secret).
• Ability to successfully fulfill additional federal customer suitability, fitness, and financial background requirements.
• PMP certification preferred; additional certifications in Product Management, Agile, Scrum, SAFe, or similar methodologies are advantageous.
