This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
β’ Lead, mentor, and develop a team of product managers.
β’ Establish objectives and development plans, conduct performance assessments, and coach direct reports.
β’ Collaborate with recruiting to expand the PM team and create a hiring pipeline.
β’ Provide clarity and alignment on priorities, roadmap, and success metrics.
β’ Define and take ownership of the multi-year product vision and roadmap for Consumer Product.
β’ Convert business goals into product initiatives prioritized for impact and learning.
β’ Identify market opportunities, including Indexed Universal Life and Whole Life products, and formulate go-to-market strategies.
β’ Monitor consumer trends, competitive landscapes, and emerging technologies.
β’ Oversee the complete consumer experience from acquisition through purchase and onboarding.
β’ Educate consumers regarding life insurance and assist them in selecting suitable coverage.
β’ Drive rapid experimentation by formulating hypotheses, designing tests, and analyzing results.
β’ Eliminate friction from applications to enhance completion rates and coverage.
β’ Ensure accessible, enjoyable, and straightforward consumer experiences.
β’ Represent the Product team in cross-functional discussions and influence prioritization and resource distribution.
β’ Collaborate with Engineering, Design, Data Science, Marketing, and Actuarial teams.
β’ Communicate product strategy, progress, and outcomes to executives and the broader organization.
β’ Foster alignment among product, engineering, and business teams.
β’ 12+ years of experience as a product manager in a high-growth technology firm, developing consumer products at significant scale.
β’ 5+ years of experience in managing and nurturing product managers.
β’ Experience in fintech, insurtech, or other regulated consumer sectors is advantageous.
β’ Outstanding ability to generate, test, and refine hypotheses utilizing data, user insights, and market trends.
β’ Strong analytical skills and data-driven decision-making capability.
β’ Proficiency in self-service analytics using tools such as SQL and Amplitude.
β’ Comfortable collaborating with data science for complex analyses.
β’ Ability to transform strategic concepts into actionable roadmaps, rapid prototypes, and iterative product enhancements.
β’ Proven experience in leading and scaling PM organizations, encompassing hiring, onboarding, and talent development.
β’ Capability to operate between long-term vision and hands-on execution.
β’ Exceptional communication skills and executive presence; ability to influence without formal authority.
β’ Strong history of addressing customer challenges and translating them into business growth.
