
Senior Commercial Deal Desk Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United Kingdom.
• Collaborate with Enterprise Account Executives, Sales Managers, Finance, Legal, and Revenue Operations on intricate, non-standard, and high-stakes deals.
• Provide guidance on deal structure, pricing, terms, discounting, approvals, amendments, renewals, co-terms, ramps, bundled products, and other commercial considerations.
• Review and execute deal submissions in Salesforce CPQ/Revenue Cloud.
• Ensure that quotes and contracts are precise, comprehensive, and ready for approval and invoicing.
• Establish the foundations for the Commercial Deal Desk, including intake processes, approval routing, discount governance, exception handling, SLAs, and documentation.
• Develop playbooks, training materials, office hours, and practical guidance for sales teams.
• Identify opportunities for workflow improvements through automation, AI tools, and CPQ configuration.
• Collaborate with technical teams to implement scalable solutions.
• Utilize deal data and KPIs to pinpoint bottlenecks, enhance deal quality, and recommend changes that support efficient, sustainable growth.
• A minimum of 4 years of experience in Deal Desk, Revenue Operations, Commercial Finance, or a related role within a B2B SaaS environment.
• Practical experience with Salesforce CRM and Salesforce CPQ/Revenue Cloud, including resolving complex quoting and cross-object issues.
• Strong comprehension of commercial deal structures, including ARR, multi-year agreements, amendments, renewals, co-terms, ramps, stub billing, bundled products, and discounting.
• Proven ability to build or enhance processes, documentation, approval workflows, and commercial policies in a dynamic environment.
• Solid commercial judgment with the capacity to balance customer and seller needs against pricing discipline, revenue integrity, and business risk.
• Excellent cross-functional communication skills and the ability to influence without formal authority.
• Capability to articulate complex commercial concepts in a clear manner.
• Experience with AI, automation, or workflow tools to minimize manual work and enhance the quote-to-cash process is preferred.
