Senior Commercial Counsel – Enterprise East

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Act as a crucial member of Optro’s growing legal team.

• Concentrate mainly on Enterprise and Strategic agreements while supporting East Coast Area Directors and their teams.

• Independently manage legal negotiations with clients.

• Provide overarching guidance on subscription agreements, data processing agreements, partner agreements, and vendor agreements.

• Contribute to initiatives aimed at optimizing Optro’s contracting process as the company expands.

• Engage directly with customers, partners, vendors, internal stakeholders, and executives across various functions, including sales and information security.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 8 years of in-house transactional experience in a position necessitating direct interaction with potential customers, partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders and executives from sales to information security.

• At least 5 years of experience in negotiating SaaS agreements, Amendments, and Order Forms with enterprise clients.

• Comprehensive understanding of the entire contract lifecycle from NDA to internal approvals through to the conclusion of the signature process.

• Outstanding organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

• Proficiency in editing and managing contracts utilizing Microsoft Office and Google Product Suites.

• A growth mindset and the capacity to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple concurrent projects and tasks to completion within specified time frames.

• A team-oriented approach with the adaptability to address unique issues in real-time and the awareness of when to involve others.

• Must be licensed to practice law and maintain good standing in the state of residence.

• Background check is mandatory.
