This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Support the formulation and implementation of strategic initiatives related to M&A, capital markets, special projects, organic growth opportunities, and business development.
• Collaborate closely with Managers and Directors in Corporate Development to identify and prioritize key strategic initiatives.
• Contribute to the development of strategy and pinpoint areas of focus for M&A activities.
• Enhance and execute processes and analytical frameworks for evaluating M&A opportunities.
• Conduct research and analysis on high-priority strategic markets, including industry mapping and in-depth investigations into targeted M&A and partnership opportunities.
• Perform ad hoc analyses and engage in financial modeling.
• Assist in cross-functional initiatives to analyze and carry out capital markets activities.
• Collaborate with and lead cross-functional efforts during M&A execution, encompassing due diligence, business case development, financial modeling, and integration efforts.
• Create strategic and financial presentations for board-level and executive audiences.
• Directly communicate with senior management and regularly engage with the CFO.
• Bachelor's degree; a focus in Finance, Accounting, or Economics is preferred.
• At least 2+ years of relevant experience in investment banking, private equity, venture capital, corporate development, or transaction services.
• Proven exposure to M&A transactions.
• Direct experience in supporting M&A execution, including due diligence, financial modeling, and deal analysis.
• Strong analytical abilities and financial modeling expertise.
• Capability to independently construct operational, acquisition, and pro forma models.
• Demonstrated capacity to work cross-functionally and autonomously in a fast-paced, high-judgment environment.
• Preferred exposure to public equity or debt capital markets.
• Experience in software or technology transactions is preferred.
• A strong interest in and knowledge of the software or technology sector.
• Ability to remain seated for extended periods, typically 7–8 hours a day.
• Proficiency in operating a computer, using phone systems, typing, and managing multiple software applications concurrently.
