This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Take ownership of analytics and strategy to enhance performance in both post-charge-off and pre-charge-off recovery operations.
• Develop a comprehensive analytics framework that encompasses debt sales, outsourcing to third-party agencies, and DSC settlements.
• Create, test, and sustain a dialer strategy, which includes contact cadence, prioritization logic, and channel sequencing.
• Design dialer experiments aimed at comparing treatment options and refining strategy based on the outcomes.
• Prepare and maintain quarterly business review materials, key performance indicators (KPIs), and reporting schedules for third-party collection agencies.
• Lead and advance the digital communication strategy across email, SMS, and AI voice agent channels while ensuring performance, borrower experience, and compliance are balanced.
• Monitor, analyze, and report on settlement performance with debt settlement companies, focusing on acceptance rates, recovery yield, and portfolio trends.
• Assess the design and effectiveness of hardship programs to enhance borrower outcomes and reduce recidivism rates.
• Conduct ad hoc portfolio analytics for Collections leadership and cross-functional teams.
• Collaborate with Risk, Compliance, Legal, Operations, and Product teams to translate analyses into actionable strategies.
• Present findings, trade-offs, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership.
• 3-5+ years of experience in a quantitative, analytics, or strategy position, preferably in collections, credit risk, or recovery operations within a financial services or fintech environment.
• Hands-on experience with collections operations, including dialer strategy, agency management, debt sales, DSC/settlement programs, or hardship programs is highly preferred.
• Proficient in SQL with the ability to query large, complex datasets independently.
• Experience in building dashboards and reports in Tableau (or a similar BI tool), coupled with advanced skills in Excel and/or Google Sheets.
• Proven track record in designing and analyzing test-and-learn experiments (e.g., A/B tests) to enhance operational strategy.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, capable of transforming raw data into clear, actionable recommendations.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with experience in presenting analysis and strategies to senior stakeholders.
• Self-motivated individual comfortable taking ownership of ambiguous, cross-functional challenges in a dynamic environment.
• BA/BS degree in a quantitative discipline (Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Economics, or a related field) or equivalent practical experience.
• Proficiency in English is mandatory for all positions.
