Senior Coating Advisor

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Greece.

📋 Description

• Act as the reliable on-site coating specialist for marine vessels, wind turbines, and industrial facilities.

• Provide guidance to applicators, distributors, contractors, engineers, and consultants in the application of Hempel products.

• Assist customers in overcoming challenges, improving results, and enhancing the performance of Hempel coatings.

• Work in collaboration with Sales, R&D, Customer Care, Coating Advisors, and other internal teams.

• Ensure that applications adhere to Product Data Sheets, working specifications, technical and industrial standards, procedures, and best practices.

• Oversee complex, large-scale projects from inception to completion.

• Prepare and disseminate comprehensive daily progress reports and final reports.

• Advocate for Hempel coating solutions and communicate the advantages of services and products.

• Support both internal and external service-strategy initiatives and balanced solutions.

• Conduct training sessions, condition surveys, and line inspection surveys.

• Aid in troubleshooting and resolving issues.

• Represent Hempel’s brand and product offerings to customers.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience in the Maritime Industry.

• Proficiency in shipyard and dry-docking operations.

• Strong knowledge of naval maintenance requirements and constraints.

• Degree in Engineering (Construction, Marine, Chemical, Metallurgy) or equivalent practical experience within the coating industry.

• FROSIO or NACE certification is highly preferred but not mandatory.

• Excellent communication and negotiation skills in both Greek and English.

• Capability to utilize technical terminology in Greek and English.

• Ability to establish and maintain positive customer relationships.

• Ability to represent Hempel on-site with integrity.

• Flexibility to adapt to dynamic environments and work across various teams and project types.

• Initiative, ownership, and the ability to handle time-sensitive situations.

• Must possess a valid driving license.

• Submission of an application letter and CV in English is required.
