Senior Cloud Security Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Design and establish cloud security measures throughout AWS.

• Create security automation utilizing infrastructure as code, APIs, and scripting techniques.

• Oversee cloud security posture management and drive ongoing enhancements.

• Embed security practices within CI/CD pipelines and engineering processes.

• Generate continuous evidence collection to support FedRAMP and other ongoing compliance efforts.

• Collaborate with engineering teams to ensure secure architecture and adherence to cloud best practices.

• Enhance cloud monitoring, detection capabilities, and security performance metrics.

• Address customer security needs and compliance requirements, including SOC 2, ISO 27001, and FedRAMP.

• Advance Ontic's AWS cloud security program while developing scalable security features for secure cloud operations and FedRAMP preparedness.

⛳️ Requirements

• Expertise in AWS cloud security is essential.

• Direct experience with FedRAMP Moderate or High is preferred.

• Familiarity with FedRAMP CR-26 and/or 20x is advantageous.

• Experience with AWS Bedrock is preferred.

• Proficiency in infrastructure as code, particularly with Terraform, is preferred.

• Skills in security automation and scripting are required.

• Experience in integrating security within CI/CD processes is necessary.

• Competence in cloud detection and monitoring is important.

• Background in supporting regulated SaaS environments and cloud compliance initiatives is required.

• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Must not require Ontic to sponsor an immigration case, unless applicable.

• Compliance with Ontic's Security and Privacy policies is mandatory.
