Senior Cloud Identity Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Design and enhance Microsoft Entra ID Governance through Access Reviews and governance processes.

• Develop script-based automation within a decentralized Microsoft Entra environment.

• Automate the lifecycles of Service Principals, certificates, secrets, and federated credentials utilizing Azure Key Vault.

• Create self-service features for Service Principals, Entra Groups, and delegated administration.

• Assess and refine Azure RBAC, Entra RBAC, application permissions, Microsoft Graph permissions, and OAuth consent models.

• Establish identity monitoring and detection capabilities using Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and KQL.

• Facilitate automation of the Joiner, Mover, and Leaver processes, using HRIS as the primary identity source.

• Partner with business stakeholders, engineering teams, and peers on cloud identity governance and security initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in designing and automating cloud identity solutions within complex cloud environments.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra, Administrative Units, Microsoft Entra ID Governance, Microsoft Graph Permissions, Azure, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform.

• Proven experience in designing Zero Trust and Least Privilege architectures.

• Capability to engineer secure and scalable identity platforms.

• A mindset focused on automation, APIs, governance, and secure-by-design principles.

• Understanding of Permission Misuse Detection and identity governance.

• Interest in emerging identity technologies and AI-assisted engineering tools.

• Experience or interest in Microsoft Entra Agent ID, Identity Blueprints, and Microsoft 365 Agents/Copilot is advantageous.

• Ability to collaborate effectively across teams and communicate technical concepts to colleagues and stakeholders.
