Senior Cloud Identity Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Netherlands.

📋 Description

• Design and expand Microsoft Entra ID Governance.

• Execute Access Reviews and establish governance processes in collaboration with business stakeholders.

• Develop script-based automation across a decentralized Microsoft Entra environment.

• Automate the lifecycle management of Service Principals, certificates, secrets, and federated credentials.

• Integrate workload identity services with Azure Key Vault.

• Create self-service functionalities for Service Principals, Entra Groups, and delegated administration.

• Assess and enhance Azure RBAC, Entra RBAC, application permissions, Microsoft Graph permissions, and OAuth consent models.

• Develop identity monitoring and detection capabilities utilizing Microsoft Sentinel, Azure Monitor, Log Analytics, and Kusto Query Language.

• Facilitate automation of Joiner, Mover, and Leaver processes using HRIS as the definitive identity source.

• Contribute to defining identity architecture and governance across Azure, Data, ERP, and AI platforms.

• Work collaboratively with engineering teams, business stakeholders, colleagues, and security teams.

⛳️ Requirements

• Practical experience in designing and automating cloud identity solutions.

• Familiarity with Microsoft Entra, Administrative Units, Microsoft Entra ID Governance, Microsoft Graph Permissions, Azure, Microsoft 365, and Power Platform.

• Experience in managing complex cloud environments.

• Capability to design Zero Trust and Least Privilege architectures.

• Strong focus on automation, APIs, governance, and a secure-by-design approach.

• Understanding of Permission Misuse Detection and ongoing identity governance enhancement.

• Interest in emerging identity technologies.

• Ability to convey knowledge and present technical concepts to colleagues and stakeholders.

• Strong collaborative skills across teams.

• Occasional on-site collaboration at offices in Berlin or Cologne may be necessary.

• This is a remote position based in Germany.
