Senior Cloud Engineer – Azure, Kafka

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ukraine.

📋 Description

• Create and manage event-driven integration platforms

• Utilize Azure Integration Services such as Event Hub, Logic Apps, Function Apps, Kafka Connect, and AKS

• Evaluate business needs and suggest integration patterns along with Azure services

• Deploy infrastructure utilizing Infrastructure as Code principles with Terraform

• Ensure adherence to security, governance, and operational best practices

• Work collaboratively with architects, developers, infrastructure, network, and security teams

• Engage in Agile delivery and continuous improvement initiatives

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience as an Integration Engineer

• Expertise in Azure Integration Services, including Service Bus, Event Hubs, Event Grid, Functions, and Logic Apps

• Strong knowledge of Azure and a cloud-native approach

• Experience with AKS and Kubernetes

• Familiarity with GitOps practices using ArgoCD

• Proficient in Terraform for infrastructure automation

• Skilled in Azure CLI and GitHub Actions/CI/CD

• Proficient in programming languages such as TypeScript/JavaScript, Python, Bash, and Java

• Experienced with Docker and Datadog

• Understanding of Azure networking and security aspects: VNets, Private Link, RBAC, Key Vault, Entra ID, and Zero Trust principles

• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD workflows

• Experience with Kafka integration

• Strong security awareness and operational responsibility

• Preferred: Microsoft Azure Administrator Associate certification

• Preferred: HashiCorp Terraform Associate certification

• Preferred: Certified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA)
