Senior Cloud Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design, implement, configure, and provide support for enterprise Azure environments.

• Oversee Azure subscriptions, resource groups, policies, RBAC, and governance controls.

• Develop and sustain Azure networking solutions, including VNets, subnets, NSGs, route tables, private endpoints, private DNS zones, Azure Firewall, third-party network integrations, VPN, and ExpressRoute.

• Administer Azure compute, storage, databases, and platform services.

• Facilitate multi-region Azure architectures, disaster recovery solutions, and high availability designs.

• Diagnose and conduct root cause analysis for Azure infrastructure issues.

• Monitor cloud environments for availability, performance, security, and cost optimization.

• Create and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions utilizing Terraform.

• Develop reusable Terraform modules and standardized deployment patterns.

• Manage Terraform state, workflows, and enterprise deployment procedures.

• Build automation using GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps pipelines, PowerShell, Python, and Azure CLI.

• Automate provisioning, configuration, compliance checks, and operational processes.

• Implement CI/CD practices for infrastructure deployments.

• Enhance cloud automation frameworks and minimize manual operational tasks.

• Manage GitHub enterprise capabilities, including repositories, branching strategies, pull requests, code reviews, workflows, self-hosted runners, secrets, and cloud deployment integrations.

• Develop and maintain automated deployment pipelines.

• Support DevOps engineering practices across development and infrastructure teams.

• Implement secure software delivery practices and automation standards.

• Apply Azure security best practices, including RBAC, managed identities, Key Vault, encryption, network security controls, and security policies.

• Collaborate with security teams on cloud governance requirements, compliance initiatives, and cloud security assessments.

• Apply least privilege access principles.

• Assist in the implementation and enforcement of Azure Policy.

• Provide advanced troubleshooting and operational support.

• Engage in incident response and production support activities.

• Analyze performance, capacity, and availability metrics.

• Create architecture diagrams, runbooks, standard operating procedures, and knowledge articles.

• Participate in on-call rotation as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• Comprehensive understanding of Azure architecture and cloud networking concepts.

• Demonstrated experience managing Azure subscriptions, VNets and networking, identity and access management, compute and storage services, and private connectivity solutions.

• Extensive Terraform experience, including module development and enterprise deployments.

• Proficient in GitHub, including GitHub Actions and CI/CD automation.

• Strong scripting skills with PowerShell, Python, or similar programming languages.

• Experience supporting production enterprise cloud environments.

• Preferred Azure certifications such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert, or Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert.

• Familiarity with multi-cloud environments (AWS/GCP) is preferred.

• Experience in implementing cloud governance frameworks is preferred.

• Knowledge of security tools, monitoring platforms, and automation frameworks is preferred.

• Experience supporting enterprise-scale landing zones is preferred.
