Cloud Engineer – AWS/Azure

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Spain.

📋 Description

• Management and operation of AWS and/or Azure infrastructures

• Resolution of incidents and requests in Cloud environments

• Implementation of changes and maintenance activities in production environments

• Analysis and troubleshooting of infrastructure issues, connectivity, performance, and availability

• Administration and configuration of Cloud services

• Automation of operational tasks and recurring processes

• Development and maintenance of infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

• Involvement in projects related to evolution, migration, and Cloud transformation

• Implementation of best practices regarding security, availability, resilience, and cost optimization

• Monitoring and analysis of logs, metrics, and events

• Preparation and maintenance of technical documentation and procedures

• Collaboration with Cloud Architecture, DevOps, Security, Systems, and Networking teams

• Contribution to the continuous improvement of managed services

• Mentoring and developing less experienced professionals

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience in AWS and/or Microsoft Azure, with a strong technical foundation and a focus on automation and continuous improvement

• Practical experience with at least one of the two major Cloud providers

• Solid background in Cloud infrastructure and networking

• Experience with Terraform

• Knowledge of Git

• Experience with CI/CD tools

• Automation experience using Bash, PowerShell, and/or Python

• Solid fundamentals of networking: TCP/IP, DNS, Routing, VPN, Firewalls, and Load Balancers

• Knowledge of security in Cloud environments

• Experience with monitoring, logging, and observability tools

• Experience in incident and change management

• Ability to troubleshoot Cloud infrastructure issues

• Capability to work independently, solve problems, and operate in production and critical environments

• Strong communication and teamwork skills

• Ability to document and share knowledge

• Knowledge of Ansible, experience with both AWS and Azure, multicloud environments, advanced Terraform, Terragrunt, Kubernetes, Docker, Jenkins, GitHub Actions, Azure DevOps, design and operation of Landing Zones, FinOps, Cloud Security, migrations, high availability, Disaster Recovery, and AWS/Azure certifications are valued

• Experience with ITSM tools like ServiceNow is a plus
