Cloud & FinOps Engineer – AWS, Microsoft Azure, GCP, Alibaba Cloud

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Provide guidance to our clients while working on various platforms including Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Azure, Alibaba Cloud, and hybrid environments.

• Act as a technical liaison and implement solutions for technical inquiries in areas such as Technical FinOps, cloud governance, architecture, Kubernetes, and migration strategies.

• Create and develop cloud migration strategies that incorporate FinOps principles.

• Offer technical consulting and implementation support for the deployment of cloud solutions across multiple platforms.

• Counsel clients on the adoption of FinOps principles and strategies.

• Standardize Continuous Integration and Continuous Delivery processes.

• Assess systems and software engineering tools and methodologies.

• Generate system specifications tailored for customer environments.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience with public cloud platforms, such as Google Cloud Platform, AWS, Alibaba Cloud, or Azure.

• Familiarity with cloud infrastructures and architectures.

• Initial cloud certifications, like CKAD, are preferred.

• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, automation, CI/CD, Terraform, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), or equivalent technologies.

• A keen interest in AI and AI-driven systems in relation to FinOps.

• Basic programming and/or scripting skills, such as Python and Bash.

• Experience with Cloud Identity and Access Management is a plus.

• Knowledge of serverless technologies and API management.

• Familiarity with monitoring, logging, and auditing on cloud platforms, including AWS CloudWatch, AWS CloudTrail, and Elasticsearch.

• Basic comprehension of FinOps and its foundational principles.

• Proficiency in both German and English.
