Senior Cloud Engineer – Azure, IaC, Terraform

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain Infrastructure as Code (IaC) scripts utilizing Terraform.

• Automate the deployment and management of resources on Microsoft Azure.

• Work in collaboration with architects and development teams to define and execute infrastructure solutions.

• Ensure that infrastructure code adheres to best practices, organizational standards, and security protocols.

• Perform code reviews and offer technical feedback to the team.

• Identify and address issues related to infrastructure code, deployments, and runtime environments.

• Develop and manage CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure.

• Utilize Jenkins, Ansible, Git, VS Code, Jira, and Webex.

• Monitor and enhance cloud infrastructure for stability, performance, cost-effectiveness, and security.

• Produce and maintain technical documentation, including architectural diagrams.

• Stay informed about new Azure services, features, and best practices.

• Leverage GitHub Copilot for code generation, debugging, refactoring, and unit test creation.

⛳️ Requirements

• Demonstrated experience as an Infrastructure as Code (IaC) Developer or in a comparable role.

• In-depth understanding of cloud computing and Microsoft Azure architecture.

• Proficient with IaC tools such as Terraform, Packer, Azure Resource Manager (ARM), or equivalent tools like Microsoft Bicep and AWS CloudFormation.

• Expertise with version control systems, particularly Git.

• Strong knowledge of at least one high-level programming language (Python or Groovy).

• Proficient in at least one scripting language (Bash, PowerShell, or JavaScript).

• Experience with DevOps practices and tools (Jenkins, Ansible, or similar technologies).

• Familiarity with networking, security, and identity management in Azure.

• Understanding of TCP/IP and firewall rules.

• Experience in Agile methodologies.

• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field (preferred).

• Advanced English proficiency for daily communication.

• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (a plus).

• Knowledge of AWS and Google Cloud (a plus).

• Familiarity with Azure Monitor, Splunk, Dynatrace, and Datadog (a plus).

• Microsoft Azure certifications AZ-900, AZ-104, AZ-204, or AZ-400 (a plus).
