This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Oversee and provide support for cloud infrastructure, platform services, and operational tools across various customer environments.
• Address incidents, service requests, alerts, and escalations; conduct triage, troubleshooting, service restoration, and ensure follow-through to resolution.
• Carry out provisioning, deprovisioning, access modifications, maintenance tasks, backup validation, patch management, and uphold platform hygiene.
• Manage compute, storage, networking, identity, security, and governance services across leading cloud providers.
• Adhere to ITSM processes for incident management, request fulfillment, change execution, escalation, documentation, and communication of status to customers.
• Engage in customer meetings, status calls, and service reviews to ensure alignment and satisfaction.
• Collaborate with Team Leads, Senior Cloud Engineers, architects, and service delivery teams.
• Assist in monitoring, alerting, tagging, policy management, cost visibility, and compliance-related tasks.
• Utilize scripting, automation, and AI tools to enhance consistency and minimize repetitive tasks.
• Participate in after-hours/on-call rotations and provide weekend support for significant incidents, maintenance windows, and approved changes.
• Take independent ownership of standard and moderately complex operational tasks and troubleshooting, escalating novel, high-risk, architecture-heavy, or major platform engineering tasks when necessary.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• At least 3+ years of experience in customer-facing IT infrastructure, cloud operations, systems administration, or managed services support.
• Practical experience with at least one major cloud platform, demonstrating strong operational skills in Azure, AWS, OCI, or GCP.
• Background in supporting incidents, requests, changes, or regular administration tasks in production environments.
• Familiarity with Windows and/or Linux server operations, identity and access management concepts, networking basics, and monitoring tools.
• Proficient in PowerShell, Python, Bash, infrastructure as code, CI/CD, or other automation tools relevant to cloud operations.
• Strong troubleshooting abilities, operational execution, and issue ownership in live production settings.
• Knowledgeable in identity and access management, RBAC, least privilege, security groups/firewall principles, DNS, and essential networking fundamentals.
• Acquainted with monitoring, alerting, logging, event response, and core ITSM practices.
• Capability to prioritize competing tickets and tasks while meeting commitments across multiple customers or workstreams.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, demonstrating professionalism.
• Strong focus on documentation and meticulous attention to detail.
• Ability to work independently, escalate matters appropriately, and collaborate effectively across teams.
• Willingness to travel as needed.
• Availability to participate in after-hours/on-call rotations and support weekend work when required.
• Must be a proactive self-starter, capable of working without continuous supervision.
• Relevant cloud, operations, or platform certifications are advantageous.
• Experience in managed services, consulting, or multi-customer support environments is preferred.
