Senior Cloud Business Analyst

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Austria.

📋 Description

• Lead the initial phases of projects independently, encompassing discovery workshops, assessments, pre-sales, and the development of business cases.

• Serve as the business representative throughout the complete project lifecycle.

• Convert business strategies and industry needs into business cases for data platforms, analytics, GenAI applications, and cloud transformations.

• Evaluate business models and pinpoint opportunities to enhance revenue growth, conversion rates, customer lifetime value, cost efficiency, and scalability through data and AI.

• Provide guidance to clients at management and C-level regarding Data & AI strategies, including total cost of ownership (TCO), return on investment (ROI), and prioritization of investments.

• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to translate technical capabilities into business value.

• Develop presentations, visualizations, and dashboards to facilitate management decision-making.

⛳️ Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar role.

• Preferably, experience in business or IT consulting or digital transformation.

• A confident and credible presence with senior management and C-level stakeholders.

• Ability to rapidly grasp and effectively position Data & AI consulting, engineering, AWS reselling, and managed services.

• Strong industry knowledge.

• Comprehensive understanding of modern data platforms, analytics, and AI applications.

• Proven experience with ROI, TCO, and investment prioritization.

• Background in project and stakeholder management.

• Familiarity with agile methodologies.

• Exceptional communication skills in both German and English.

• A strong sense of responsibility, curiosity, and enthusiasm for new technologies, industries, and business models.

• Experience with cloud environments, preferably AWS, is beneficial but not mandatory.
