Senior Business Analyst – Medicaid Claims, Eligibility

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Oversee the responsibilities and activities of a business analyst team engaged in IT projects.

• Mentor new team members by offering guidance and support.

• Act as a liaison among clients, project managers, and technical personnel.

• Identify, document, and communicate business requirements along with their anticipated impact.

• Collaborate with clients at the onset of technical projects to formulate business specifications.

• Examine, plan, design, document, or propose enhancements to business processes.

• Assist clients in achieving their technology objectives through process enhancements.

• Ensure requirements are fulfilled by approving and validating testing outcomes.

• Utilize Excel or SQL to measure projected business impact.

• Contribute to essential healthcare initiatives related to Medicaid programs, claims, and eligibility operations.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 6 years of experience in a relevant Business Analyst role.

• At least 3 years of experience in Medicaid and Medicare is preferred.

• Strong preference for experience in Medicaid claims processing and eligibility business operations.

• Familiarity with computer programming concepts like configuration, development, and batch processing.

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel or SQL.

• Experience utilizing requirement-mapping tools, such as Application Lifecycle Management (ALM) tools.

• Excellent communication skills with clients.

• Strong analytical abilities, business process re-engineering, and business process modeling skills.

• Capability to gather, elicit, analyze, document, and validate business requirements.

• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills.

• Solid executive presence and communication abilities.

• Proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel from day one.

• Willingness to learn client-specific systems, applications, and business process tools.

• Video cameras are required for all interviews and the first week of orientation.

• Must participate in screenings, interviews, and meetings from a quiet location with a reliable internet connection.
