This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Evaluate complete revenue cycle workflows to uncover opportunities for minimizing manual tasks, rework, and process inconsistencies.
• Create documentation for current and future business processes utilizing process maps, swimlane diagrams, and workflow documentation.
• Conduct root-cause analyses to pinpoint operational bottlenecks, delays, and quality concerns.
• Formulate recommendations aimed at enhancing efficiency, scalability, compliance, and the overall customer experience.
• Work in collaboration with operational teams to standardize and refine Reimbursement Operations workflows.
• Collect and document business requirements for both operational and technology initiatives.
• Develop process flows, business requirements documents, user stories, and acceptance criteria.
• Assist in the prioritization of enhancement requests and opportunities for process improvements.
• Conduct impact assessments for suggested operational and system modifications.
• Help stakeholders in defining success metrics and operational KPIs.
• Document system integration requirements and operational workflows across platforms.
• Collaborate with IT teams, vendors, and business users to ensure that solutions align with operational needs.
• Engage in testing, validation, and user acceptance activities.
• Participate in stakeholder meetings, process workshops, and sessions for gathering requirements.
• Monitor project deliverables, risks, issues, and action items.
• Convey recommendations, findings, and project updates to operational leadership.
• Aid in organizational change management and the adoption of new processes.
• A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, Healthcare Informatics, or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, healthcare operations, revenue cycle, or similar roles.
• Proven experience in documenting business processes and pinpointing operational improvement opportunities.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking abilities.
• Exceptional communication skills and stakeholder management capabilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and process mapping software.
• Experience in healthcare revenue cycle management, payer operations, diagnostics, laboratory services, or healthcare technology.
