Business Systems Analyst – Contract

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Collect, document, and present business requirements for intricate configuration data sets

• Collaborate directly with insurance carriers to record essential scope decisions for assigned initiatives

• Convert business requirements into technical specifications for the engineering team

• Assist in developing data-driven solutions for prominent carriers in the insurance sector

• Fulfill specific deliverables as part of a defined six-month temporary project alongside the Sr Director of Delivery Management

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 2 years of experience as a Business Systems Analyst, ideally in insurance, financial services, or SaaS

• Proven track record in gathering, documenting, and translating business requirements into technical specifications

• Skillful in interpreting and organizing complex product configuration data sets

• Knowledge of policy administration systems or underwriting workflows is an advantage

• Proficient in engaging with clients and internal teams, both verbally and in writing

• Competent in using Google Sheets, JIRA, Confluence, and a data visualization tool such as Tableau or Grist

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience

• Must be residing in the contiguous 48 United States

• Must have authorization to work in the United States; visa sponsorship requirements are specified in the application
