This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Administer, maintain, and enhance cloud-hosted application instances within Azure environments.
• Deploy and oversee both web-based and desktop-based applications, including application delivery through Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD).
• Design, execute, and sustain integration workflows among SaaS platforms, VM-hosted applications, and third-party APIs.
• Monitor the health, performance, and usage of applications and infrastructure.
• Proactively detect, troubleshoot, and resolve operational challenges.
• Manage configurations for applications and infrastructure, encompassing patching, updates, version control, and security/compliance enforcement.
• Implement automation for deployment, configuration management, and operational tasks, adhering to DevOps best practices.
• Assess and recommend tools, technologies, and process enhancements to improve operational efficiency, reliability, and scalability.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless data flow, system interoperability, and scalable architecture across enterprise platforms.
• Must be a US citizen.
• 4-5 years of experience in cloud application administration and integration engineering.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or a related field.
• Must possess or be willing to acquire a TS/SCI Clearance.
• Security+ certification is required, but can be obtained post-hire.
• Strong knowledge of Azure services, including Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD), Azure VMs, Azure Storage, Azure App Services, and Azure Networking.
• Experience in managing and deploying both web-based and desktop-based applications in virtualized or cloud-hosted settings.
• Exceptional troubleshooting and analytical abilities.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
• All positions require background investigations, including criminal history and identity verification.
• Preferred: Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Preferred: Microsoft Azure cloud certifications, such as Azure Administrator Associate.
• Preferred: Experience with Docker and Kubernetes.
• Preferred: Knowledge of hybrid cloud, multi-cloud, and edge computing integration strategies.
• Preferred: Familiarity with CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, Prometheus, and similar monitoring and observability tools.
• Preferred: Background in enterprise application integration (EAI) or data integration platforms.
• Preferred: Experience with identity and access management (IAM), SSO, and role-based access controls.
• Preferred: Knowledge of data governance and compliance frameworks.
