This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.
• Collaborate with a product portfolio to oversee product security, focusing on AI/ML automation, security consulting, and cross-functional teamwork.
• Direct security design evaluations and threat modeling for APIs, web features, and service integrations.
• Incorporate SAST, SCA, and DAST security tools into CI/CD pipelines and developer workflows.
• Analyze source code and deployment configurations to uncover vulnerabilities.
• Work alongside developers to triage, address, and verify security issues.
• Maintain AppSec guidelines and contribute to security awareness initiatives.
• Create and implement AppSec automation and integrations, such as ASVS scanning and Burp Suite Enterprise.
• Assist in application security integration reviews, SaaS security evaluations, and open-source software assessments.
• Engage in cross-functional incident response and remediation strategy planning.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent relevant experience.
• 6–8 years of experience in application security or full-stack development with a focus on security.
• Strong grasp of secure coding practices in Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, Node.js, and web standards.
• Knowledge of OWASP Top 10 (web and GenAI LLM), API security, SSRF, and associated security issues.
• Proficient with code scanning tools such as CodeQL, Wiz, SonarQube, or Snyk.
• Comfortable navigating and debugging complex codebases across various technology stacks.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively guide engineers at all levels.
