This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Ohio.
• Offer procedural support to new robotic system locations to enhance safety and facilitate effective progress.
• Partner with global Clinical Applications Engineering and Endoluminal Sales teams to assist new users during their initial learning phase.
• Deliver expert clinical product and technical support and training to physicians and clinical personnel during procedures.
• Identify concerns from clinical users that impact procedure adoption and collaborate with training and development teams to address them.
• Maintain ongoing communication with global Clinical Applications Engineering and development teams.
• Develop and share best practices and product feedback in collaboration with peers and development engineering teams.
• Keep updated on product instructions for use, best practices, technical troubleshooting, scientific clinical literature, and new product developments.
• Prioritize and respond appropriately to inquiries in a high-pressure environment.
• Facilitate the early adoption of new technology and assist users in transitioning from initial training to system proficiency.
• Provide insights to design engineering regarding system usage nuances specific to the assigned market.
• At least 2 years of technical or clinical experience in the healthcare sector.
• Experience in navigating hospitals and supporting medical procedures.
• Background in working with highly complex technical systems and/or in a critical patient care environment with physicians and support staff.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication abilities.
• Strong situational awareness skills.
• Capacity to seek out, process, and translate large amounts of data into actionable insights.
• Willingness to travel up to 70% of the time.
• Reside near a major airline or rail hub.
• Flexibility to work nights and weekends as required.
• Ability to independently prioritize and manage travel logistics and complete related administrative tasks.
• Willingness to travel on short notice and support cases across different locations.
• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or a related healthcare field.
• Capability to provide current proof of vaccination against certain diseases, including COVID-19, if mandated by Intuitive and/or customers.
• May be subject to U.S. export-control regulations, including an export license and/or Technology Control Plan.
