Principal Field Application Engineer, Senior

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Germany.

📋 Description

• Act as a reliable technical partner for customers and internal teams throughout the EMEA region.

• Foster technical engagement and provide support for strategic Automotive and Industrial accounts.

• Propel design wins within targeted accounts.

• Conduct customer visits and training sessions for technical product presentations, demonstrations, and deployment of value propositions.

• Spearhead proof of concept initiatives, solution design, and demonstrations to secure victories.

• Integrate customer and competitive insights to enhance product definitions and roadmaps.

• Oversee Nexperia design-in campaigns for designated customers.

• Assess sales opportunities based on customer technical needs and establish Nexperia’s competitive advantages.

• Evaluate product value and articulate the technical advantages of selecting Nexperia.

• Provide both formal and informal knowledge sharing and product positioning.

• Analyze customers’ technical goals to facilitate both predictive and responsive sales activities.

• Train the regional sales team on new technologies, product features, and business value.

⛳️ Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field (Master’s degree is preferred).

• At least 5 years of experience in design engineering and application engineering.

• Ideally, prior work experience with a customer in the Automotive and/or Industrial sectors.

• Excellent communication and presentation abilities.

• Proficient communication skills in both German and English.

• Goal-oriented, demonstrates initiative, and possesses an entrepreneurial mindset.

• Willingness to travel frequently.
