This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in New York.
• Offer procedural assistance to new robotic system locations to enhance safety and ensure effective progression.
• Work in collaboration with global Clinical Applications Engineering and Endoluminal Sales teams to assist new users as they navigate their initial learning phase.
• Deliver expert clinical product and technical support while training physicians and clinical personnel on Intuitive equipment during clinical procedures.
• Identify concerns from clinical users that may hinder procedure adoption and partner with training and development teams to resolve them.
• Maintain ongoing communication with global Clinical Applications Engineering and development teams.
• Collaborate with colleagues and development engineering partners to create and disseminate best practices and product feedback.
• Stay updated on product usage guidelines, best practices, technical troubleshooting, scientific clinical literature, and new product developments.
• Prioritize and respond effectively to requests in a high-pressure environment.
• Assist in the early adoption of robotic minimally invasive care and help users transition from initial training to achieving system proficiency.
• Provide insights to design engineering regarding system usage intricacies within the designated market.
• At least 2 years of technical or clinical experience in the healthcare sector.
• Familiarity with navigating hospitals and supporting procedural activities.
• Experience working with highly complex technical systems and/or in critical patient care environments alongside physicians and support staff.
• Proficient oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong situational awareness.
• Capability to work independently and adaptively in a dynamic environment.
• Ability to maintain composure and think critically under high-pressure situations.
• Proficiency in collaborating effectively in a remote team setting.
• Skill in processing large volumes of data and translating information into actionable insights.
• Willingness to travel up to 70%.
• Reside near a major airline or rail hub.
• Availability to work nights and weekends as necessary.
• Flexibility to travel on short notice and support cases across diverse geographies.
• Competence in independently prioritizing and managing travel logistics along with related administrative tasks.
• Bachelor’s degree in biomedical engineering or a healthcare-related field.
• May be subject to U.S. export controls and related licensing or Technology Control Plan requirements.
• May need to provide current proof of vaccination against specific diseases, including COVID-19.
