This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Pennsylvania.

📋 Description

• Provide support for Ear, Nose and Throat therapies through surgical coverage, follow-up assistance, troubleshooting, customer service, and educational initiatives.

• Execute surgical coverage by ensuring access to necessary equipment and products for procedures, which includes device selection, programming, implantation, and testing of device systems.

• Deliver clinical support during surgeries, address issues as they arise, and conduct follow-ups in both hospitals and clinics.

• Respond promptly to technical inquiries from customers, patients, and colleagues.

• Maintain an up-to-date knowledge of competitive products.

• Educate and train physicians, hospital staff, and office personnel on technical aspects of products and therapies.

• Assist Management and Sales Training in the education and training of new district personnel.

• Complete mandatory event reporting and documentation utilizing Medtronic technology tools.

• Place customer service orders for pending purchase orders and product replacements.

• Collaborate with materials management to gather purchase orders for covered cases.

• Manage inventory allocated for case coverage.

• Contribute to quarterly objectives for district and national initiatives.

• Partner with sales representatives to meet territory and district business targets and document quarterly activities.

• Visit accounts to restock literature and establish or maintain relationships with office staff.

• Effectively utilize mobile phone, iPad, and PC.

• Manage personal expenses and budget efficiently.

• Maintain an understanding of relevant quality policies and system components.

• Adhere to work and quality procedures to ensure compliance with quality systems and deliver high-quality work.

• Travel to multiple accounts within the assigned territory and perform duties in a field-based role.


⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED with at least 8 years of clinical or medical sales experience; or an Associate’s Degree with a minimum of 6 years of clinical or medical sales experience; or a Bachelor’s degree with at least 4 years of clinical or medical sales experience.

• Must possess unrestricted U.S. work authorization at the time of hire and throughout employment.

• Must hold a valid driver's license and have an active vehicle insurance policy.

• Driving record will be subject to review.

• Must be able to drive approximately 50% of the time within the assigned territory, including potential overnight travel.

• Required to operate using healthcare universal precautions to minimize exposure to infectious diseases and radiation.

• Ability to serve as the primary resource for both scheduled and unscheduled clinical events, which may include periodic weekends, evenings, and nights.

• Capability to work efficiently and independently with minimal guidance outside of clinical events.

• Willingness to attend national meetings, district meetings, and other training sessions as required.

• Ability to wear a 7–9 lbs protective lead apron for extended durations in the operating room.

• Capability to lift up to 40 lbs.

• Ability to sit, stand, and/or walk for over 8 hours each day.

• Ability to frequently bend/stoop, squat, and maintain balance.

• Close vision, distance vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus are necessary.

• For degrees obtained outside the United States, a degree meeting 8 C.F.R. § 214.2(h)(4)(iii)(A) is required.

• Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in a healthcare-related field.

• Preferred: Master’s degree.

• Preferred: Registered nurse or healthcare professional experience in a sterile environment.

• Preferred: Clinical experience with implantable neurological products and patient care.

• Preferred: Experience providing service to medical personnel regarding product usage.

• Preferred: Experience in a medical device or pharmaceutical company, along with clinical experience in neurology, neurosurgery, orthopedic surgery, pain management, or home healthcare.

• Preferred: Understanding of basic reimbursement processes and the healthcare environment.

• Preferred: Excellent organizational skills with the ability to perform under pressure.
