This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in India.
• Oversee the complete lifecycle of global Investigator grant payments for designated studies.
• Establish, implement, oversee, and finalize payment solutions for studies.
• Proactively and promptly gather information from teams, systems, and tools.
• Comprehend global contract terms, budgets, and payment schedules to ensure alignment with Clinical Trial Agreements.
• Analyze data and present findings to stakeholders.
• Conduct payment reconciliations at required intervals.
• Serve as a liaison between sites, clinical research teams, and functional leaders.
• Evaluate budgeted versus actual expenditures and discuss results with project teams.
• Create and distribute consolidated monthly payment reports for paid and unpaid sites.
• Participate in meetings with clients and project teams.
• Promote continuous enhancement of staff, processes, and the utilization of payment systems.
• Act as the primary contact for queries regarding Investigator-related payments.
• Detect trends of underpayment and overpayment and work towards their resolution.
• Collaborate with financial and clinical departments.
• Investigate and resolve payment discrepancies.
• Provide customer service to internal Worldwide teams, external sites, and sponsors.
• Assist in interviewing, coaching, training, and developing new staff members.
• Coordinate and lead Clinical Trials Associates on significant clinical projects.
• Engage in special and complex projects aimed at improving processes, tools, systems, and organizational effectiveness.
• Input information into 1C or other accounting systems for local payments when necessary.
• Work with sites to prepare accounting documentation.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
• A minimum of 2-3 years of experience in a CRO/Pharma Company/Finance Position in a relevant role that involves qualitative data entry and data validation in Finance, Project Management, or Contracts.
• A four-year college degree or university degree, OR a two-year college degree with one or more years of experience in office administration or a similar role, OR relevant skills and proven performance equivalent to the aforementioned qualifications.
• Advanced proficiency in written and spoken English.
• Exceptional written and verbal communication abilities.
• Capability to work autonomously as well as collaboratively as part of a team.
• A sense of urgency and adaptability in a fast-paced and rapidly evolving environment.
• Strong attention to detail and a commitment to the quality of work.
• Proficient in managing multiple tasks, including quick generation of new documents, forms, and tools.
• Solid organizational skills, including the ability to create naming conventions and filing systems.
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office applications, including Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of and familiarity with ICH, GCP, and FDA or EU directive regulations (as applicable), along with local regulatory requirements.
• Excellent spoken and written English skills, in addition to fluency in the local language of the country of location.
