Senior Clinical Knowledge Base Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop and sustain evidence-based libraries for oncology Eviti.

• Construct and evaluate oncology treatment regimens in accordance with clinical studies and oncology clinical practice guidelines.

• Facilitate continuous reviews and updates of Library regimens.

• Independently prioritize, organize, and manage Library operations.

• Conduct assigned Annual Reviews to ensure the Library remains current.

• Collaborate with team members to assess, create, and review Library content for accuracy, relevance, consistency, and suitability.

• Enhance and refine Library content and maintenance workflows.

• Mentor and train Knowledge Base Managers.

• Identify and prioritize issues and requirements related to the Library.

• Execute medical literature searches and analyze clinical study outcomes.

• Assess the effects of Library modifications on client Medical Policy and Pathways.

• Analyze and formulate guidelines for client Medical Policy, Oncology Pathways, and Medicare coverage decisions.

• Lead the implementation of new client Medical Policy and Pathway initiatives.

• Articulate the reasoning behind independent content-related decisions to cross-functional teams.

• Support the development of Eviti and the Library, including the integration of biomarker and genomic diagnostic parameters.

• Participate in training and ongoing education for NantHealth staff.

• Address inquiries regarding Library content and provide rationale as needed.

• Engage in and lead project teams focused on enhancing Eviti’s clinical content and software capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7 years of prior clinical experience in oncology.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is strongly preferred.

• Experience in research and writing.

• Current active unrestricted registered nursing (RN) license.

• Oncology nursing certification is preferred.

• Ability to work independently while under close supervision.

• Skills in clinical decision-making and efficiency improvement.

• Capability to manage and curate the Eviti Library, including medical policy.

• Proficiency in explaining facts, policies, and practices relevant to the job area.

• Ability to meet operational deadlines and project objectives.

• Effective communication skills with colleagues and medical personnel.

• Ability to liaise with IT staff to report issues, troubleshoot problems, and request new functionalities.
