Senior Clinical Knowledge Base Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Develop and assess oncology treatment protocols for the Library in accordance with clinical research and oncology practice standards.

• Oversee continuous evaluation and revisions of Library protocols.

• Independently manage priorities, plans, and execution of Library operations.

• Conduct Annual Reviews to maintain the Library's relevance and accuracy.

• Partner with colleagues to assess, create, and validate Library materials for correctness, timeliness, consistency, and suitability.

• Enhance and refine Library content and maintenance protocols.

• Provide training and guidance to Knowledge Base Managers.

• Recognize and prioritize Library challenges and requirements.

• Perform medical literature searches and analyze clinical study findings.

• Evaluate how Library modifications affect client Medical Policies and Pathways.

• Analyze and establish rules for client Medical Policy, Oncology Pathways, and Medicare coverage decisions.

• Spearhead the implementation of new client Medical Policies and Pathways.

• Articulate the reasoning behind content-related decisions to cross-functional team members.

• Assist in the development of Eviti and the Library, focusing on incorporating biomarker and genomic diagnostic criteria.

• Engage in training and ongoing education for NantHealth personnel.

• Address inquiries regarding Library content and provide rationale as needed.

• Participate in and lead project teams aimed at enhancing Eviti's clinical content and software capabilities.

⛳️ Requirements

• 5-7 years of prior clinical experience in oncology.

• Bachelor’s degree in nursing is strongly preferred.

• Experience in research and writing.

• Current, active, unrestricted registered nursing (RN) license.

• Oncology nursing certification is preferred.

• Capability to work autonomously with limited supervision.

• Skills in clinical decision-making and process improvement.

• Proficiency in executing clinical processes to manage and curate the Eviti Library, including medical policy.

• Ability to clarify facts, policies, and procedures relevant to the job area.

• Competency in meeting operational and project deadlines and goals.

• Effective communication skills with colleagues and medical staff concerning Library matters.

• Ability to liaise with IT staff to report issues and request new functionalities.
