Senior Clinical Experience Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead, mentor, and cultivate a high-performing team of Clinical Experience Managers.

• Convert the Director’s Clinical Experience strategy and priorities into well-defined Prebill team plans, operational rhythms, capacity decisions, and uniform execution.

• Supervise clinical engagement initiatives in collaboration with Client Success.

• Develop a tiered engagement framework for clients.

• Provide senior clinical oversight for priority, complex, or escalated client engagements.

• Utilize recommendation, acceptance, rejection, query, coding, and workflow data to recognize patterns and drive focused action.

• Assist clients in understanding the clinical and coding rationale behind AI-generated recommendations and integrate insights within compliant workflows.

• Establish protocols for client readiness assessments, clinical stakeholder mapping, clinical-health reporting, and handoffs.

• Collaborate cross-functionally with Client Success, Product, Clinical Operations, Education, and Implementation/Integration.

• Create reusable playbooks, communication strategies, clinical education materials, client readouts, and best practices.

• Define and track team, engagement, and adoption metrics; evaluate capacity and execution risks.

• Represent Clinical Experience in client presentations, webinars, roundtables, conferences, and strategic initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• MD, DO, PA, NP, or RN, or another relevant clinical credential.

• Knowledge of patient care and the intricacies of Clinical Documentation Improvement (CDI).

• Extensive expertise in clinical documentation improvement, inpatient coding, ICD-10-CM/PCS, HCCs, CMS regulations, reimbursement methodologies, and healthcare quality initiatives.

• Strong strategic thinking abilities, with a talent for translating client insights into scalable business, product, and educational strategies.

• Outstanding executive communication and presentation skills, capable of influencing stakeholders from frontline clinicians to executives.

• Experience managing intricate client relationships while balancing business goals with clinical credibility.

• Proven ability to simplify complex clinical, regulatory, and technical concepts for varied audiences.

• Enthusiasm for utilizing AI and emerging technologies to revolutionize clinical documentation, revenue cycle management, and healthcare delivery.

• 5+ years of progressive leadership experience in Clinical Documentation Integrity (CDI), Health Information Management (HIM), Revenue Cycle, Clinical Operations, or related healthcare leadership roles (preferred).

• Experience in building, mentoring, and expanding clinical or client-facing teams (preferred).

• Experience in developing organizational strategy, operational processes, and cross-functional programs in a high-growth healthcare technology setting (preferred).

• Strong analytical capabilities with experience using client feedback, operational metrics, and healthcare data to inform strategic decision-making (preferred).

• Experience presenting at industry conferences, leading educational webinars, or being recognized as a clinical thought leader (preferred).

• Experience with AI-enabled healthcare technology, SaaS platforms, or clinical decision support solutions (preferred).
