Senior Clinical Data Specialist – GWTG CAD

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Utilize specialized clinical expertise to classify, code, summarize, analyze, and compute registry/case information from patient medical records.

• Ensure the precise submission of data to designated registries or measurement data repositories.

• Organize and manage numerous simultaneous tasks, deadlines, and requests from the team.

• Navigate through electronic medical records and registry/case entry tools effectively.

• Resolve technical issues related to systems and applications.

• Contribute to the development of data dictionaries, abstraction guidelines, business rule documents, and best practices for the team.

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements.

• Stay updated on mandated regulatory and publicly reported data requirements.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as required.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of one year of direct abstraction experience in the Get with the Guidelines CAD registry (within the past 12 months).

• Familiarity with various patient medical record systems (EMRs) and clinical databases.

• Intermediate skill level with MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams, OneNote, and SharePoint).

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.

• High standards for precision and attention to detail.

• Technically inclined with a willingness to learn new systems and technologies.

• Capability to work independently and take responsibility for projects/patient records.

• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate with hospital partners, colleagues, team leads, and others.

• Strong self-organization and time management skills to handle multiple accounts and changing priorities.

• Ability to adapt to changes in hospital partner timelines, requirements, and project assignments.

• Capacity to maintain the security and confidentiality of PHI.

• Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship.

• Direct clinical experience is preferred.

• RN or LPN credentials are preferred.
