Senior Clinical Data Abstractor – PT

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Classify, code, summarize, analyze, and compute registry/case information derived from detailed patient medical records.

• Guarantee the precise submission of data into designated registries or measurement data repositories.

• Organize and prioritize various simultaneous tasks and requests from the team.

• Adhere to strict deadlines while managing expectations, challenges, and solutions.

• Utilize electronic medical records and registry/case entry tools effectively.

• Resolve technical issues related to systems and applications.

• Contribute to team best practices, data dictionaries, abstraction guidelines, and business rules documentation.

• Recognize opportunities for process enhancement.

• Keep up-to-date with mandatory regulatory and publicly reported data requirements.

• Undertake additional duties as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Direct clinical abstraction experience within the last year.

• RN or LPN Credential or significant clinical experience.

• Exceptional analytical and critical thinking abilities.

• High standards for precision and meticulous attention to detail.

• Technically proficient with a readiness to learn new systems and technologies.

• Capability to work independently and take ownership of projects and patient records.

• Clear and consistent communication skills, with the ability to adapt style and tone accordingly.

• Excellent self-organization and time management skills.

• Adaptability to evolving hospital partner timelines, requirements, and project assignments.

• Capacity to maintain the security and confidentiality of PHI.

• Legal eligibility to work in the United States now or in the future without sponsorship.

• Direct abstraction experience with the Vascular Quality Initiative.

• Direct abstraction experience in BMC2 VIC.

• Familiarity with multiple EMR systems and clinical databases.

• Intermediate skills in Microsoft Excel.

• Experience using M2S software.

• Experience abstracting at least one specified module, including Inferior Vena Cava Filter (required).
