Senior Clinical Data Abstractor – Core Measures

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Classify, encode, summarize, interpret, and compute registry/case details from intricate patient medical records.

• Guarantee the precise submission of all data within designated registries or measure data repositories while upholding a high accuracy standard.

• Prioritize, organize, and meet stringent deadlines for various simultaneous tasks and team requests.

• Manage expectations, identify obstacles, and suggest solutions promptly.

• Navigate electronic medical records (EMR) and tools for registry/case entry.

• Resolve technical issues with systems and applications by utilizing team resources and a solutions-oriented approach.

• Contribute to team best practices, data dictionaries, abstraction guidelines, and other business rule documents.

• Recognize opportunities for process improvement to enhance task efficiency.

• Stay updated on mandated regulatory and publicly reported data requirements established by federal, state, payer, and other agencies.

• Undertake additional responsibilities as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• Familiarity with various patient medical record systems (EMRs) and clinical databases.

• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Word, Teams, One Note, and SharePoint).

• Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities to systematically approach problems.

• Exhibits high standards of accuracy and meticulous attention to detail.

• Demonstrates technical aptitude and a keen desire to learn new systems and technologies.

• Excels in working independently and takes ownership of projects/patient records.

• Communicates consistently and clearly, adapting style and tone as necessary to collaborate effectively with hospital partners, peers, team leads, and others.

• Displays strong self-organization and time management skills to manage multiple accounts concurrently, adjusting as necessary to evolving timelines and priorities.

• Capable of adapting to changes in timelines, requirements, and project assignments.

• Maintains a high level of responsibility in safeguarding PHI security and confidentiality.

• Candidates seeking employment with Q-Centrix must be legally authorized to work in the United States now or in the future without sponsorship.

• A minimum of 1 year of direct Core Measures and Sepsis abstraction experience (within the last calendar year) is REQUIRED.
