📋 Description

• Manage relationships with carriers on behalf of the organization

• Oversee the service team for designated large accounts

• Organize key services and formulate initial placement/renewal strategies

• Support in creating and sustaining suitable carrier relationships

• Execute marketing initiatives for assigned large accounts

• Prepare or conduct peer reviews of risk maps for designated accounts

• Ensure effective service delivery

• Undertake special projects

• Recognize opportunities for enhancing the firm, business segment, and processes

• Raise issues and discrepancies to the appropriate leadership

• Mentor new team members upon request

• Execute all responsibilities of an Account Manager

⛳️ Requirements

• A bachelor's degree is preferred

• Holds, or is in the process of obtaining, a professional insurance designation

• Minimum of five years’ experience and proven expertise in Account Management

• Strong technical understanding of general insurance market dynamics and specific underwriting appetites of insurance carriers

• Capability to assess complex risk exposures and existing insurance coverages and propose suitable recommendations

• Outstanding client service and problem-solving abilities

• Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook

• Willingness to learn necessary insurance company and firm software programs

• Maintains all licenses required by the State Department of Insurance to provide services, consultation, and financial risk transfer solutions in relevant states, or is willing and able to obtain the necessary licenses within the first 90 days of employment

• Proficient presentation skills in both verbal and written forms

• Conducts behavior that aligns with the organization’s core values and corporate culture
