📋 Description

• Investigate, assess, negotiate, and resolve high-stakes general liability claims related to bodily injury, property damage, and other casualty issues.

• Balance financial objectives with claimant experience and reputational factors.

• Collaborate with third-party administrators to ensure claims are handled promptly, consistently, and effectively.

• Evaluate liability, exposure, litigation risks, and potential impacts on the business.

• Formulate resolution strategies that align with the company's goals and values.

• Offer claims expertise and consultation to relevant departments.

• Identify emerging loss trends and advocate for consistent claims practices.

• Assess the potential for subrogation.

• Maintain thorough written and electronic records of claims while ensuring compliance with handling protocols.

• Represent the risk management claims team in inter-departmental working groups.

⛳️ Requirements

• A minimum of 4 years of experience in adjusting general liability claims with a third-party administrator, insurance company, or self-insured organization.

• At least 2 years of general knowledge in insurance and legal principles.

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in customer service.

• At least 2 years of general office experience in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

• Outstanding written and verbal communication abilities.

• Strong skills in negotiation and relationship management.

• Excellent time management and prioritization capabilities.

• Proven compassion, empathy, and professionalism.
