Auto Claims Adjuster

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Texas.

📋 Description

• Conduct thorough investigations to confirm the facts surrounding losses related to basic to advanced automobile accidents.

• Assess coverage, liability, and damages while adjusting and negotiating claims within established authority limits.

• Collect and analyze relevant claim information.

• Detect potential subrogation or fraud issues and decide on appropriate handling methods.

• Engage in negotiating claim settlements within authorized limits.

• Provide outstanding customer service while identifying and addressing customer needs.

• Collaborate with designated fraud or subrogation representatives to ensure optimal outcomes.

• Recognize and assess vehicle body parts and any other potential damages to property.

• Utilize a solid understanding of company policies and industry insurance standards.

• Manage all facets of auto claim investigations, including coverage, damages, and subrogation, with discretion and independence.

• No supervisory responsibilities involved.

⛳️ Requirements

• Proven experience in handling auto insurance claims.

• Background in coverage and liability investigations.

• Experience in customer service and resolving claims.

• Skilled in negotiating claim settlements.

• Capability to identify subrogation and fraud opportunities.

• Preferred experience with auto property damage and/or bodily injury claims.

• Excellent communication, analytical, and organizational abilities.

• Proficient in managing multiple claims in a fast-paced environment.

• Active insurance license holders must cancel all existing appointments prior to onboarding and cannot hold outside appointments during employment.

• Applicants with a resident producer license must formally relinquish that license when directed by the licensing team.

• Candidates must have authorization to work in the United States.

• Must have a dedicated, distraction-free workspace when working remotely.

• Reliable internet connection with a minimum of 50 MB download and 5 MB upload speeds.
