This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Brazil.
• Open and register claims files, ensuring accurate information is entered into both internal and insurer systems.
• Perform initial coverage assessments by examining the contractual and documentary requirements relevant to each case.
• Request, organize, and verify the necessary documentation to process claims files fully.
• Prepare tracking reports and status updates for clients and internal teams.
• Assist Claims Analysts II and III with causal analysis and evaluation of claimed amounts.
• Oversee the work of adjusters and external service providers to ensure compliance with deadlines and quality standards.
• Act as the operational liaison for insurers, addressing inquiries and submitting additional information as needed.
• Adhere to established deadlines and aid in meeting performance indicators (SLA, quality, and productivity).
• Assist in the implementation of operational enhancements and best practices within the Claims department.
• Currently enrolled in a bachelor’s program in Law, Business Administration, Economics, International Relations, or a related discipline.
• Completion of technical or short-term courses in insurance fundamentals and claims adjusting is a plus.
• Experience in insurance brokerages, insurance firms, or service providers associated with the insurance sector.
• Familiarity with administrative processes, customer service, or technical support within the insurance industry.
• Previous experience managing low-complexity claims is preferred.
• Basic understanding of Liability and Financial Lines insurance contracts and policies.
• Capability to interpret contractual documents and technical reports.
• Intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, and Outlook).
• Experience with consultative customer service and relationships with insurers and clients.
• Knowledge of claims management systems (both internal and external) is advantageous.
• Basic proficiency in English is preferred.
