This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Colorado, +14 more states.
β’ Analyze and manage complex bodily injury claims related to auto and commercial transportation.
β’ Assess coverage and conduct thorough investigations.
β’ Establish liability and evaluate the extent of damages.
β’ Handle intricate auto commercial and personal line claims, including bodily injury cases.
β’ Ensure that claim files are accurately documented and appropriately coded.
β’ Oversee the litigation process for claims that are in litigation.
β’ Coordinate vendor management, which includes working with independent adjusters.
β’ Report significant claims to excess carriers.
β’ Create and update action plans to adhere to state-mandated contact deadlines.
β’ Identify and pursue opportunities for subrogation and risk transfer.
β’ Secure and manage salvage disposal.
β’ Communicate claim actions and processing updates with insured individuals, clients, and agents or brokers.
β’ Contribute to the organization's quality initiatives.
β’ Perform additional duties as assigned.
β’ A minimum of five (5) years of claims management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.
β’ Comprehensive understanding of personal and commercial auto policies, coverages, principles, and relevant laws.
β’ Strong verbal and written communication skills, including proficiency in presentation delivery.
β’ Proficient in PC usage, particularly with Microsoft Office applications.
β’ Capability to collaborate effectively within a team environment.
β’ Must secure and maintain the necessary State adjusting licenses for the role.
β’ Proficient keyboarding skills.
β’ Ability to hear, see, and communicate effectively.
