Liability Claims Adjuster – GL, Property & Product Liability

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in North Carolina.

📋 Description

• Evaluate GL, Property & Product Liability claims on behalf of clients to ascertain benefits owed.

• Maintain ongoing adjudication of claims in accordance with service expectations, industry best practices, and specific client service needs.

• Analyze and manage claims through action plans to ensure timely resolutions.

• Investigate and collect information to assess claim exposure.

• Negotiate settlements of claims within the assigned authority.

• Communicate claim activities and processing updates to claimants and clients.

• Report claims to the excess carrier.

• Respond to direction requests in a professional and timely manner.

⛳️ Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED is mandatory.

• A Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university is preferred.

• Professional certification relevant to the line of business is advantageous.

• A minimum of 4 years of claims management experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience is required.

• Knowledge of nationwide jurisdiction.

• Must possess a NY or HI license.

• Capability to analyze GL, Property & Product Liability claims.

• Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills.

• Excellent judgment, troubleshooting, problem-solving, analytical skills, and discretion.

• Ability to manage work-related stress effectively.

• Capacity to handle multiple priorities at once.

• Ability to meet deadlines consistently.

• Proficiency in computer keyboarding.

• Adequate hearing, vision, and verbal communication skills.
