Senior Civil Site Designer – Grid

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Execute civil site drafting, modeling, and development for substation and transmission line initiatives.

• Develop 3D models, design schematics, plans and profiles, along with construction-ready packages.

• Engage in projects related to substations, transmission lines, and other power delivery systems.

• Collaborate with engineers, project managers, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and timely designs.

• Offer oversight and conduct peer reviews for fellow civil designers.

• Travel to client locations as needed.

⛳️ Requirements

• Associate of Science Degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; or credentials related to drafting.

• A minimum of ten (10) years of experience working within a project team setting in civil design for industrial projects, commercial developments, or power delivery.

• Proficient in creating site grading and drainage design drawings.

• Familiarity with erosion and sediment control plans and specifications.

• Experience in preparing SWPPP and SPCC plans.

• Knowledge of construction pad drawings and access road plan and profile design.

• Capable of preparing, reviewing, submitting, and managing site-related design packages for client and environmental permits.

• Proficient in AutoDesk Civil 3D and/or AutoTurn.

• Skilled in MS Office applications.

• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to thrive in a team-oriented environment.

• Must have authorization to work in the U.S.; employer does not provide work authorization sponsorship.
