This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Illinois.
• Take ownership of and implement Vega's channel strategy within the North Central region.
• Establish and strengthen relationships with key VARs, resellers, and strategic partners.
• Drive the pipeline sourced and influenced by partners across enterprise and strategic accounts.
• Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers and Sales Engineers on account mapping, territory planning, and co-selling opportunities.
• Create joint business plans with priority partners, outlining target accounts, pipeline objectives, and field activities.
• Foster relationships across partner organizations, from field sellers and SEs to regional and executive leadership.
• Recruit and engage high-value partners to broaden Vega's reach throughout the region.
• Coordinate partner enablement initiatives with Vega's Sales Engineering and Marketing teams.
• Organize partner events, field activities, customer meetings, and collaborative demand-generation programs.
• Assist in partner-led opportunities throughout the sales cycle and expedite deal closure.
• Monitor partner activities, pipeline, and performance within Salesforce.
• Contribute to the development of scalable channel programs and best practices as Vega expands.
• Over 5 years of experience in Channel Sales, Partner Management, Alliances, or a related role within the cybersecurity or enterprise software sectors.
• Established relationships within the North Central cybersecurity channel ecosystem.
• Demonstrated success in generating partner-sourced pipeline and revenue.
• Experience collaborating with VARs, resellers, and strategic partners.
• Strong understanding of enterprise cybersecurity sales cycles and partner-led sales methodologies.
• Background in partnering with enterprise sales teams on account mapping, pipeline generation, and deal execution.
• Capability to build relationships from field sellers up to executive leadership.
• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.
• A proactive mindset and comfort in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Willingness to travel throughout the region for partner and customer interactions.
• Existing connections with partners such as GuidePoint, WWT, Optiv, SHI, CDW, Trace3, and other prominent regional partners.
• Experience establishing a channel territory for an early-stage cybersecurity firm.
• Familiarity with SIEM, security analytics, security operations, or security data platforms.
• Experience working with MSSPs or technology alliance partners.
• Recent experience at a Series B/C or a similarly high-growth cybersecurity organization.
