Senior CCMS Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Australia.

📋 Description

• Oversee the administration, governance, and enhancement of the project's Completions and Commissioning Management System (CCMS) utilizing Hexagon Smart Completions.

• Manage systemization frameworks, subsystem demarcations, certification standards, and turnover criteria.

• Sustain and coordinate asset data, tag registers, certification documentation, Inspection Test Record (ITR) matrices, and turnover papers within the CCMS platform.

• Track and report on construction completion, mechanical completion, commissioning readiness, and system handover progress.

• Collaborate with engineering, construction, quality, commissioning, and subcontractor teams to ensure completion records are precise, compliant, and primed for handover.

• Assist in the planning and execution of system walkdowns, punch list management, and close-out processes.

• Ensure ITRs, redlines, blue-lines, and handover documents are finalized and approved per project specifications.

• Create and maintain project dashboards and reporting tools for completions and turnover performance monitoring.

• Facilitate operational readiness and system handover processes through maintaining data integrity and traceability.

• Offer guidance and training on CCMS procedures, requirements, and best practices.

• Identify opportunities for process enhancements and promote uniformity across completions and turnover tasks.

• Advocate for adherence to project safety, quality, and environmental standards.

⛳️ Requirements

• Experience with Hexagon Smart Completions or comparable Completions and Commissioning Management Systems (CCMS).

• Proven experience in supporting completions, commissioning, turnover, or operational readiness efforts on significant infrastructure, energy, mining, oil & gas, or industrial projects.

• Comprehensive understanding of systemization, certification, inspection and test records (ITRs), punch management, and handover procedures.

• Proficiency in managing extensive data sets, asset registers, turnover documentation, and project reporting systems.

• Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and experience with Power BI are highly valued.

• Strong attention to detail and dedication to data accuracy and quality.

• Capacity to effectively engage with engineering, construction, quality, commissioning, and client stakeholders.

• Experience in developing reports, dashboards, and performance metrics for project control and management teams.

• Excellent communication, organizational, and stakeholder management abilities.

• Willingness to work in a remote FIFO environment on a 2:1 roster.
