Plumbing Engineer III

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in United States.

📋 Description

• Lead the design and engineering of plumbing system layouts, encompassing domestic water, sanitary waste, storm drainage, and gas piping systems.

• Conduct and evaluate plumbing design calculations to ensure compliance with codes and standards.

• Utilize Revit to generate and assess plumbing construction documents.

• Manage design schedules, deliverables, and project milestones effectively.

• Choose plumbing equipment and fixtures based on specifications, performance metrics, and efficiency objectives.

• Review and respond to submittals, requests for information (RFIs), and change orders.

• Assist with site visits, inspections, and field verifications as necessary.

• Collaborate with engineers, architects, contractors, and project managers.

• Mentor junior designers and engineering personnel.

• Contribute to project meetings and client presentations with technical insights and leadership.

⛳️ Requirements

• A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline.

• A minimum of 4 years of professional plumbing design experience in commercial or industrial projects.

• Proven track record in designing plumbing systems for large-scale or mission-critical facilities.

• Proficiency in Revit for plumbing system design and documentation.

• Strong understanding of plumbing codes, NFPA standards, industry best practices, and regulatory guidelines.

• Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines.

• Exceptional communication and problem-solving abilities, with a collaborative approach across disciplines.

• Candidates must be legally authorized to work in the United States.

• Employment may be contingent upon successful completion of background checks, drug testing, and other pre-employment requirements.

• An active Professional Engineer (PE) license is preferred.

• Experience with data centers, industrial, or mission-critical facilities is preferred.

• Familiarity with MEP system coordination and integrated building systems is preferred.

• ASPE certification or other relevant professional credentials are preferred.

• Experience in sustainable plumbing design, including LEED and water efficiency systems, is preferred.
