Senior Case Manager

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Argentina.

📋 Description

• Provide support for plaintiff personal injury cases from initial intake to resolution under the guidance of an attorney.

• Oversee a typical caseload ranging from 80 to 120 personal injury cases.

• Strive to meet or surpass settlement and treatment objectives while following case lifecycle timelines.

• Handle communications with insurance companies, coordinate medical treatments, and manage claims.

• Collaborate with clients, medical providers, insurance carriers, and attorneys.

• Keep case documentation and activity records accurate, complete, and updated in Litify.

• Assist with activities related to cases and legal support functions.

• Communicate with clients in both English and Spanish as required.

• Track claim statuses and follow up on outstanding items to avoid delays.

• Ensure adherence to firm procedures, documentation standards, and best practices in case management.

⛳️ Requirements

• At least 2 years of recent experience in managing plaintiff personal injury cases.

• Experience with personal injury claims, including knowledge of no-fault, bodily injury (BI), and uninsured/underinsured motorist (UM/SUM) claims.

• Background in a plaintiff personal injury law firm.

• Proficiency in both English and Spanish.

• Strong organizational, communication, and case management abilities.

• Capability to work independently and manage a full caseload in a remote setting.

• Prior experience with Litify or Salesforce is advantageous.

• Contractors must provide their own equipment and workspace.

• A computer that can run a browser-based ATS, video conferencing, and a softphone simultaneously is required.

• Specifications: Windows 11 with Intel i5 8th generation or newer, or equivalent; 16 GB RAM; 256 GB SSD; or macOS 14 Sonoma or newer with Apple Silicon or Intel i5, 16 GB RAM, and 256 GB SSD.

• The device must be exclusively used by the contractor.

• A wired Ethernet connection is preferred, or acceptable 5 GHz Wi-Fi, with a minimum of 30 Mbps download, 15 Mbps upload, latency under 100 ms, and a private password-protected network.

• A USB noise-cancelling headset with a microphone is required.

• A webcam capable of clear video is necessary.

• Full-disk encryption must be enabled, automatic security updates activated, screen lock after 10 minutes of inactivity, and active endpoint protection software must be in place.

• Applicant data should only be stored in systems designated by the firm, never on personal cloud storage or local drives.
