Senior C++ Engineer, Desktop Applications

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Poland.

📋 Description

• Design and maintain high-quality components for desktop applications utilizing contemporary C++.

• Develop scalable solutions for multithreading and concurrency challenges.

• Assess, identify, and rectify performance issues in intricate desktop systems.

• Engage in the modernization and refactoring processes of outdated codebases.

• Work in collaboration with architects, QA engineers, and product teams to provide stable and efficient solutions.

• Aid in enhancing software quality, debugging efforts, and initiatives for system stability.

• Leverage AI-assisted development tools to optimize development workflows and expedite implementation tasks.

• Take part in technical discussions, conduct code reviews, and support engineering best practices initiatives.

⛳️ Requirements

• Over 5 years of professional experience in C++ software development.

• Profound knowledge of modern C++ standards, including C++14/17/20.

• Comprehensive understanding of multithreading, concurrency, debugging, and performance enhancement techniques.

• Practical experience in developing desktop applications.

• Familiarity with the Qt framework.

• Experience with Make, Conan, and MSVC tools.

• Background in CEF integration.

• Strong analytical skills and problem-solving abilities.

• Capability to work collaboratively within cross-functional engineering teams.

• Proficient in English at an upper-intermediate level or above.

• Experience with AI-assisted coding tools and development workflows (WILL BE A PLUS).

• Experience in regulated software environments (WILL BE A PLUS).

• A technical degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related discipline (WILL BE A PLUS).

• Proficiency in the German language (WILL BE A PLUS).
