Senior C++ Developer – Software Engineer

This is a fully remote position, open to applicants in Massachusetts.

📋 Description

• Develop and implement innovative algorithms for the exploitation of remote sensor data.

• Enhance existing high-throughput algorithms for the purposes of image analysis, detection, and tracking.

• Exhibit a thorough, idiomatic command of C++ while contributing to software design and architecture.

• Collaborate within an Agile team and contribute to the development of shared tools.

• Execute additional tasks as assigned.

⛳️ Requirements

• 7-10+ years of relevant software development experience with hands-on proficiency in C++.

• Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming (OOP) principles.

• Experience with databases such as PostgreSQL and/or MongoDB.

• Familiarity or background in Embedded Systems development.

• Proficient in a Linux/Unix environment, including multithreading and concurrency.

• Bachelor's degree in physical sciences, mathematics, engineering, or computer science.

• An additional year of education may be considered equivalent to professional experience.

• Minimum of five years of professional experience and fluency in C++.

• At least three years of professional experience with Linux operating systems.

• Knowledgeable in Data Structures.

• Skilled in optimizing high-data-throughput processing.

• Detail-oriented.

• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
